PowerPoints can be a great tool to get necessary information across to learners in a concise, visual manner. Claned supports embedding PowerPoint documents straight from Microsoft's OneDrive and SharePoint. Although commenting is currently not supported for embedded materials, you no longer have to replace a document type content in Claned when it becomes outdated. This is because the embed tool allows for learners to browse through the PowerPoint documents in the Microsoft PowerPoint viewer directly, which means that any changes made to a document will be updated in real-time in Claned as well.
Read on to see how to embed a PowerPoint to Claned.
1. Open OneDrive or SharePoint
2. Open the PowerPoint file. Ensure that sharing is set to public.
3. Click on "File"
4. Click on "Share", then "Embed"
5. Click on "Copy"
6. In your Claned board, click on "Add Content"
7. Click on the "Embed" button
8. Paste selected text into input
9. Click on "Next"
10. Give the content a name
11. Click on "Publish"
12. Open the content
13. Success!
