What is scorm?
- SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. It is a standard that defines how e-learning materials should be packaged and structured to be compatible with different LMS systems.
- SCORM files are ZIP-formatted packages that contain both learning content (e.g. videos, text, assignments) and metadata that enables the transfer of information between the content and the LMS.
Instructions for adding a SCORM package:
1. Create or open the desired board
- Scorm is a content element and this means that you must first create a board for it.
- Create a board in the "My boards" tab and give it a descriptive name and description.
- Make sure that the board settings are correct.
2. Click "Add content" from the module you want
- This will add the SCORM package to this module.
3. Select the SCORM content and click select files (.zip)
4. Give the content a name and check the settings
- If you want, you can write a description of the content and provide additional instructions.
- Select "Requires completion" if you want to ensure the scorm package has been 100% completed before moving on to the next content.
- You can add a cover image to the content.
5. Publish and check!
