We are rolling out a new version of Claned with several updates to enhance your experience. Below, we’ve compiled answers to common questions to help you prepare for the transition.

What should I as an admin or teacher do before the switch is complete?
- If you are using board, module or content descriptions you will need to review them through the new version using the text editor.
- You may need to review board covers as well.
- You may want to delete and/or update your Claned guides if you have shared them with learners.
- You may want to inform your users to be in touch with us if they experience difficulties.
- If your organization or your users use Office 365 SSO to login or you have AD integration, you might have to reauthorize Claned login. Read our guide HERE.
Will this affect our integrations?
- We have designed this update to maintain compatibility with existing integrations. However, we recommend testing them after the update. If you notice any issues, please reach out to our support team.
Will there be downtime?
- If migration will require downtime at any point, we will notify well in advance. Currently, there is no planned downtime and we can update the version during routine updates.
Will this affect Claned data?
- No, all your data, including courses, analytics, and user progress, will remain intact and accessible after the update.
How will the roll out happen?
- Admins and teachers receive early access (Week 8)
- We will start rolling the new version to students in this order: asia, germany, app. (Week 9 onward)
- After this Claned V2 will be the default version.
Are there more changes coming in the future?
- Yes! We continuously improve Claned based on user feedback. This larger update allows us to create more content types, better analytics, navigation and more!
- We will keep you informed about upcoming changes and provide documentation to help you adapt.
How will Claned deploy changes?
- We deploy changes when platform activity is at its lowest so it will not disturb you. Rather you might notice some changes when you log back in.
Can I still use the old version?
Yes you can still use the old version normally but we advise you to explore our new version to ensure you are up to speed.
